Position Overview:

The Compliance Analyst performs quality assurance and compliance monitoring and testing to identify potential problems and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies’ requirements. The Compliance Analyst also creates, reviews and modifies quality assurance tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts ongoing quality assurance and compliance monitoring, including running reports, analyzing data and communicating results to program managers and supervisors.
  • Reviews consumer records to identify potential non-compliance with regulations.
  • Conducts follow-up reviews to verify that corrective actions are taken.
  • Analyzes results to identify repetitive problems, patterns and trends.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of tools to ensure the agency is in compliance with oversight requirements.
  • Reviews and modifies tools currently in use in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attends the monthly Clinical meeting, and other meetings as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate, take initiative, provide/ receive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and file management systems including MS Access, Excel, Word and Windows.
  • Knowledge and experience using relational databases, spreadsheets and software utilities.
  • Knowledge of data collection systems, data analysis, standards and procedures, report production, and documentation.
  • Proficient with numerical analysis and basic statistics.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory guidelines from various funding sources.
  • Experience in project management and quality assurance activities.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
  • Valid MA driver’s license and car required.

Education, Licensure and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
