Job Duties:

  • Fit up parts prior to welding
  • TIG weld various parts in different materials
  • Conduct dimensional inspections of parts and check for quality requirements. Personally conduct all inspections of work prior to movement onto QC.
  • Understand and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Grinding, sanding, and Sheering as needed.
  • Adhere to lean manufacturing initiatives, quality requirements, and safety programs.
  • Set up and operation of fabricating equipment (Amada turrets, CNC press machines, Pem machines, Rollers, and Mill).
  • Assembling parts.
  • Working with hand and power tools
  • Maintaining quality throughout the manufacturing process

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in TIG welding various parts in several materials
  • Demonstrated success is fit up of parts to be welded
  • Strong math skills
  • Self-starter capable of completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read, understand, and implement job instructions.
  • Demonstrates ingenuity and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Good communication skills required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have good time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain accuracy

License/Certification:

  • AWS Certification for GTAW (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
