Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flux-Cored Arc Welder to join our team at the Dupill Group Companies. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for welding and assembling new metal forms using specialized equipment. Your expertise in multiple weld processes, including FCAW in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions, will be essential in delivering high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform welding operations using various techniques, including GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine specifications and ensure accurate welding.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, including forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion and meet customer expectations.
  • Adhere to AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 or applicable code to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products to meet customer specifications.
  • Install and repair various equipment and components, including valves and other machinery.
  • Follow blueprints to meet product specifications and ensure accurate measurements.
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications and ensure quality control.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance, ensuring that products meet customer requirements.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
  • Proficient in various welding techniques, including GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW.
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical knowledge and ability to use measuring tools, such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Ability to use measuring tools and perform calculations accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Must pass 2G, 3G, and 4G weld test.
  • Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting 20-50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of shift.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of shift.
  • Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist, and stoop for long periods of time.
  • Ability to walk 2-5 miles throughout the course of a shift.
  • Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision.
