Summary

Our fast-paced event agency is searching for a passionate and experienced Creative Director to lead our talented team in crafting unforgettable experience touchpoints for our clients. A client advocate and experienced creative leader is the perfect fit.


The Creative Director will oversee all design and content needs across the Experience division, ensuring clients’ goals are met. They act as a strategic design and content expert, consistently providing recommendations to their team and the client. The Creative Director will drive excellence, deliver solutions and push our creative services to the next level.


Responsibilities:

Client Projects:

  • Oversee the development and execution of the creative vision for client events, ensuring brand consistency and exceeding client expectations across touchpoints, from invitations and signage to location branding and digital, multimedia elements.
  • Partner with global clients and internal account managers to understand program needs and translate them into impactful experience creative.
  • Present creative concepts confidently to clients and stakeholders driving towards innovation and evolution in client projects.
  • Act as point of escalation on design and content needs, working directly with clients and internal account managers to trouble shoot and problem solve.
  • Respond quickly to team/client communication and ensure solutions are implemented.
  • Present creative capabilities and differentiators on high-level sales pitches.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and design best practices and share regularly with clients and teams.

Team Management:

  • Lead, inspire, and coach a growing team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
  • Deliver consistent and clear feedback to team members throughout the year and during performance reviews.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables are on time and within budget.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, driving the creative growth of the team.
  • Work with Design Team Lead to continuously improve creative processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Creative Director or similar senior creative role in the event industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing a creative team of designers and content creatives.
  • Exceptional portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful experience designs.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including branding, visual communication, and spatial design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in this client facing role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Large team management experience and a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for the event industry and a desire to create unique and memorable experiences.
