Position Summary:

The Kids Ministry Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Kids Ministry Director and volunteers in managing the Kids’ Ministry at Bethel Church. This includes managing program resources, administrative tasks, planning curriculum, and utilizing Planning Center Online (PCO) to schedule volunteers and keep records. The coordinator will ensure effective communication and coordination with volunteers, provide support for training, and ensure that the ministry's activities align with its vision and comply with safety policies. Additionally, the role involves partnering regularly with the Kids Ministry Director to evaluate program effectiveness, adjust strategies as needed, and participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance ministry effectiveness. Qualifications:Exhibits traits of a disciple of Jesus and maintains a growing walk with the Lord.Committed to personal growth, servant leadership, and healthy relationships.Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to be organized and multitask in a complex environment. High proficiency in administrative tasks and digital management tools, able to learn Planning Center Online (PCO).Ability to partner with and empower volunteer teams to accomplish goals. Able to work in the office 15-20 hours a week.A Bethel member or willing to become one within 6 months – including following the Bethel membership covenant.2-3 years of relevant ministry/children's/management experience. Responsibilities:Program Development and Execution: Collaborate with the Kids Min. Director and key volunteers to develop and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and activities that resonate with the ministry's vision.Resource Management: Manage program-related resources, ministry materials, and budget.Volunteer Management: Utilize Planning Center Online (PCO) for weekly scheduling and management of volunteers from nursery to 5th grade.Administrative Support: Utilize PCO to maintain volunteer forms and attendance records, ensuring proper input and management.Outgoing Communication: Partner with the Director to coordinate and communicate effectively with volunteers and parents, providing necessary information, support, and training.Program Evaluation: Partner with the Director to monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring alignment with ministry objectives.Safety and Compliance: Partner with the Director to Ensure compliance with safety and child protection policies across all activities.Events: Partner with the Director to schedule and carry out all kids' ministry activities and events.Meetings: Participate in and contribute to team and staff meetings and training sessions.
