Position Overview for the Power BI Developer:

Our client is looking for a Power BI Developer to join their team on a long-term opportunity. This person will report to the Manager of Analytics & Reporting. This development effort will add new functionality and replace certain outmoded functionality to the BI Core Analytics, and will support the following deliverables:

  •  Build a new tool-agnostic reporting sub-structure which would support the replacement of the Ad-hoc, OLAP, and Monthly Data Reporting tools utilizing Power BI
  • Build new and enhanced functionality to streamline the workflows for Analytics & Reporting and client delivery
  •  Establish reusable source code across multiple applications and reporting tools/databases within the organization

 

Required Skills for the Power BI Developer:

  •  3+ years of Power BI report development experience
  •  Comfortable with Excel and T-SQL
  •  Experience in requirements gathering
  •  Experience in data modeling in Power BI
  • Advanced Power BI visual presentation (dashboards, metrics, reports, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of power query for ETL and DAX for report building in Power BI
  • Healthcare experience a plus, but not required
