Position Summary

This position requires a highly organized individual who possesses strong initiative and has the ability to complete multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. This individual must be able to communicate effectively and understand the need to work in an integrated manner with other members of the department in furtherance of goals, objectives, and knowledge.

Job Essentials, Responsibilities, Duties

▪ Manage day to day reporting for accounts receivable items for designated teams

▪ Responsible for monitoring invoices

▪ Monitor and maintain accounts receivables aging

▪ Apply payments to accounts accordingly

▪ Maintain all accounts receivables files

▪ Prepare client invoices as directed

▪ Review received contracts and prepare contract cover sheets

▪ Maintain contract checklist, contract tracker logs, and client income tracker(s)

▪ Proactively alert management of issues such as missing invoices and contracts

▪ Maintain timely and accurate collections of accounts receivable balances

▪ Record expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports

▪ Cross-functionally collaborate with internal teams and external parties, as required

▪ Liaise with royalty team for contract tracking totality

▪ Review and summarize contracts for compensation, obligations and timing of payments

▪ Interface directly with business management teams to review contract summaries and coordinate payment deliverables

▪ Liaise with the business management teams regarding the status of agreements and the delivery of key documentation, ensuring receipt of fully executed contracts, and successful, timely payments

▪ Assist with related special projects


Specific Job Knowledge, skills, and Abilities

▪ Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.

▪ Extremely detail-oriented to create accurate and timely reports.

▪ Strong work ethic with a positive attitude & a fit with the company’s culture & values.

Qualifications:

▪ Ability to reliably commute and report to the Tri Star office.

▪ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field a plus.

▪ 4 years of professional experience in accounting or finance related position is preferred.

▪ Experience using QuickBooks and Excel is highly preferred.

▪ Experience using invoicing software and project management tools is highly preferred.

▪ Previous accounts receivable experience is highly preferred.

▪ Previous experience in collections, billing or contract review is a plus.
