Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the commercial project management strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Lead and mentor the project management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Project Planning and Execution:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of commercial projects, ensuring they meet the defined scope, quality, timeline, and budget.
- Implement best practices and standardized processes for project management to ensure consistency and efficiency
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with commercial projects.
- Develop contingency plans and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor project financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
Performance Management:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and team performance.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and implementing development plans for team members.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards of project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing commercial projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale commercial projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and software.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.
