We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Norman, OK and surrounding cities. As a key member of our multidisciplinary clinic, you will play a vital role in providing home-based and/or center-based services to children with autism and other disabilities.

About the Role

This is a part-time position with the opportunity to move into a full-time position if desired. As an RBT, you will work closely with our team of psychologists, ABA therapists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to provide a unified approach to helping children with autism and other disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ABA therapy in individual and group settings
  • Discuss interventions with parents and caregivers in a professional manner
  • Implement interventions as described by the BCBA
  • Communicate effectively with everyone on your client's treatment team
  • Attend team meetings and thoroughly document all sessions
Requirements
  • Willing to obtain a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or already certified as an RBT
  • 2+ years of experience working with children, OR Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, child development, or a related field, OR a combination of experience and education
  • Excellent communication skills with other providers and families
  • Must have great problem-solving skills
  • Must be highly organized and have a great eye for details
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in using technology
  • Passionate about helping children and their families

  • Field Experience Hours Available After the First 60 Days for Those Pursuing Their BCBA Certification

Work Environment

This position works in the clinic and home setting and will require some driving. This position may cause exposure to infectious diseases, blood, and bodily fluids.
