We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems Management and at least three (3) years of experience, or six (6) years of specialized experience, to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support for requirements analysis, data analysis, software development, programming, systems testing, implementation, quality assurance, configuration management, and backup/recovery support. The Database Administrator will analyze information requirements, perform system oversight and administration, and develop reports to support management needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for requirements analysis, data analysis, software development, programming, systems testing, implementation, quality assurance, configuration management, and backup/recovery.
  • Analyze information requirements and perform system oversight and administration.
  • Develop and implement user interface menus to support work requirements and on-demand report generation.
  • Develop and implement applications in a microcomputer environment.
  • Document source code and provide inline comments in source code.
  • Implement relational databases and manage information.
  • Develop reports using database management systems.
  • Utilize working knowledge of RMF/CS concepts and the A&A process.
  • Develop SharePoint and newer versions, including XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, SharePoint Designer 2013, and VBA.
  • Work with cloud-based apps and development.
  • Manage and develop with Microsoft Access 2013 and newer versions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Information Systems Management, and three (3) years of experience; or six (6) years of specialized experience in database applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing applications in a microcomputer environment.
  • Experience documenting source code and providing inline comments.
  • Experience implementing relational databases.
  • Experience managing information and developing reports using database management systems.
  • Working knowledge of RMF/CS concepts and the A&A process.
  • Experience developing SharePoint and newer versions, including XML, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, SharePoint Designer 2013, and VBA.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based apps and development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Access 2013 and newer versions.
  • DoD Cyberspace work role: Database Administrator (421); proficiency level: Intermediate IAW DoDM 8140 series.

Preferred Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with DoD and military environments is a plus.
