We are hiring immediately for a Lead Dietitian position

  • Location: Coral Gables Hospital-Coral Gables, FL
  • Setting: 245-bed hospital
  • Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday with every 3rd weekend rotation
  • Requirement: Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration; two years of clinical experience required

Job Summary

The Lead (Advanced Practice) Dietitian provides nutritional services for the client and company. You will work collaboratively with the team and clients to ensure the nutrition plans are implemented and departmental standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention
  • Complies with all regulatory standards, including federal, state and accrediting agencies
  • Adheres to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies where applicable
  • Participates in facility-wide and departmental Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement Programs
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian in accordance with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, required
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience as a Registered Dietitian
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required
  • Experience with computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite required
