We are looking for a Part-time Parts Runner to join our team in our NYC area locations. This position is long term with the potential to grow into more.

  • Delivers and picks up supplies to and from assigned locations
  • Maintains appropriate levels of supplies kept in stock
  • Places and tracks parts orders
  • Receives shipments and stocks parts
  • Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level
  • Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels
  • Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
  • May lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
  • Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of activities, methods, procedures, and policies of the shop
  • Comprehensive product knowledge
  • Record mileage; use Runner Daily Log.
  • Knowledge of installation and product specifications
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Should have knowledge of NYC and surrounding areas


Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Must have own reliable vehicle
  • Should be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to work current schedule. This is a part-time position, Monday - Friday ( 8 am- 2 pm)
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
