 Are you an engaging Weekend Nursing Assistants and Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA) seeking a new opportunity? Come join The Geneva Suites team. We have multiple single-family homes available to service our assisted living residents with locations in Bloomington, Burnsville, Eagan, Eden Prairie and Edina.

If you're seeking a comfortable home setting where the typical caregiver to resident ratio is a 1:3 (1:6 on Nights), then this is a role for YOU

Shifts Available: Every other Weekend on Day (6a-2p), Eve (2-10p) or Nights (10p-6a)

Support you'll have as a Care Partner:

  • Nurses are available for support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • House Managers who also work the floor with you
  • Regularly scheduled training to help you grow in your career

Care Partner Qualifications:

  • Love to care for others
  • Previous caregiving experience - preferably in an Assisted Living setting
  • CNA/HHA certification preferred but not required
  • Dependable and able to work a consistent work schedule that includes every other weekend
  • Able to read/write and communicate effectively in English
  • Patient with others

A day in the life of a Care Partner:

  • Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence and abilities while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities (ADLs) such as shampooing of hair, showering/bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.
  • Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per residents care plan including medication administration
  • Take and record vitals (temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration) as instructed
  • Monitor and report changes in resident symptoms, behaviors, and conditions (both physical and emotional) to nursing team
  • Document services performed and observations during shift in our electronic charting system (rTasks)
  • Engage with residents - reading, talking, activities, looking through photos, etc
  • Keeping the home clean and safe (sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, laundry)
  • Report any issues with equipment or maintenance needed in the home
  • Knowledge of emergency procedures
