Caliber is seeking a full-time Technology Support Specialist to join our team locally in Scottsdale, AZ. This is not a remote position. Position will be in-office 100% of the time.

The Technology Support Specialist role will support and work alongside with the Technology department as well as the overall business by maintaining and improving technological efficiency across the company. Maximizing operational uptime of Caliber and Caliber’s employees is a key contributing factor to the success of our clients as well as Caliber as a whole.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with MSP & IT team for ticket, inventory, and project assistance
  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including offsite repair for remote users as needed.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems and workstations, including imaging and installation of necessary software and hardware
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues relating to both PC/Mac platforms (limited Mac), printers/mobile devices, etc. Perform troubleshooting on hardware, software and network connectivity issues for individual users and departments
  • Provide general training and technical assistance to users on hardware and software
  • Perform system and network administration to ensure efficient operation of the company’s tech stack, perform and schedule maintenance to keep systems updated
  • Manage multiple requests/projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on greatest need
  • Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back‐out instructions
  • Interface with IT team to provision required equipment and software in a timely manner
  • Maintain all IT Asset Inventory including Cell Phones, Laptops, Desktops, Scanners, Printers, Monitors, Docking Stations, iPads, AV equipment, Surfaces/ Tablet and any other IT related equipment that has been issued.
  • It will be required on some rare occasions to come in early, stay late and work weekends.

Qualifications (required unless otherwise stated):

  • 4+ years of experience in similar technology support role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft software stack.
  • Experience working with Windows Server OS.
  • Well-rounded understanding of PC, networking, printer, and meeting room hardware/software.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong customer service mentality, team player.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Positive, upbeat, can-do attitude.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to see projects through to completion.

Physical Demands:

This job operates in a professional office environment with occasional travel. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. The employee frequently communicates with internal team members, investors, and vendors. This role must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. This role constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer and occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.
