We are looking for dedicated, caring ICU/IMC APPs to provide medical care for critically ill patients. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Critical Care provides healthcare services utilizing both operational and clinical protocols of the ICU/IMC.


Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the ICU Medical Director:

· Performs comprehensive healthcare examinations to patients and prescribe treatments for the critically ill patients.

· Work with multidisciplinary team to contribute to provide high quality care leading to optimal outcomes in patient care and satisfaction.


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - The following qualifications are required:

EDUCATION

• A Master's degree (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing (DNP) in Nursing or Physician Assistant Program required.


EXPERIENCE: Experience in ICU patient management or completion of a one year critical care residency program. REQUIRED.


SPECIALIZED TRAINING/SKILLS:

  • Current APN or PA license to practice in the state of IL
  • PA: NCCPA Board Certification
  • Illinois Controlled Substance & DEA License
  • BLS/ACLS
  • Geriatric acute care and/or cardiovascular experience are considered a plus.
  • On-call and Call-in Requirements: TBD
