Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our Critical Care ICU team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, and perform various patient tests and administer medications as needed.
- Teach patients and families about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills to promote independence and improve health outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois.
- BSN or MSN degree preferred.
- CPR, ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
- Emergency or critical care experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in an acute care setting required.
