Are you passionate about science and education? Do you have a strong background in science and a knack for engaging young minds? The New Century School is seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Science Curriculum Advisor and Lab Instructor for Grades 3-8.


Position: Science Curriculum Advisor and Lab Instructor (Grades 3-8)


Responsibilities:

  • Advise classroom teachers on science curriculum development and implementation.
  • Direct and enhance the science curriculum for Grades 3-8.
  • Teach or co-teach engaging and interactive science laboratories.
  • Collaborate with educators to foster a hands-on learning environment.
  • Work approximately 3 hours per week during the school day.
  • Option to combine this role with a position in our afterschool program.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in science, with a degree in a related field.
  • Teaching experience, preferably with Grades 3-8.
  • Ability to create and implement engaging, hands-on science activities and labs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
