Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Checks material to be cut against job ticket for material color accuracy.
- Sets up machine, setting register guides. Receives setup approval from Finishing Lead or Finishing Supervisor prior to run.
- Reviews blueprint and verifies job specifications such as shape and material color.
- Performs cutting operations to close tolerances.
- Continually monitors product to assure the parts meet BGS and customer specifications.
- Advises Finishing Supervisor or Finishing Lead of any cutting problems and troubleshoots any issues as necessary.
- Feeds and cuts material. Stacks sheets neatly utilizing proper handling techniques to minimize creases and defects.
- Ensures accurate production records as required by recording finished product quantity correctly in quality management system.
- Inspect machine guards for safety compliance.
- Understands and implements all safety standards in all job duties performed in this role.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Performs other duties as necessary or required.
- Must work well with others-this is a team effort with shared responsibilities.
