Summary

RP3 is seeking an Associate Technology Director to join our team. You’ll help plan, build and deploy solutions for client partners and for the agency. The ideal candidate brings a complete knowledge of full-stack development, from fluency in design frameworks to functional backends. You develop and deploy digital experiences, shaping information architecture, designing systems and writing code. With best practices in mind, you transform user insights and wireframes to the highest quality user interfaces. The ideal candidate pairs a passion for creative coding with attention to detail. This role will be asked to balance workload and provide continuous feedback, working with our Head of Creative Tech and lead Systems Administrator.

Requirements:

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications


  • 10+ years of related work experience
  • A high-level thinker who is detail oriented with the capability to juggle a number of projects and meet deadlines without forgoing quality
  • Deep understanding of web design & development best practices
  • Leans into headless/decoupled architecture, leveraging one or more major frameworks such as Vue, Angular, React, Flutter
  • Installs and helps manage CMS systems (e.g. WordPress, Sanity, Contentful)
  • Configures hosting and cloud services, AWS (EC2 management, RDS, SSH Key management, AWS Transfer Family, automated backups, deployments, etc.)
  • Assists media partners with GA4/GTM integrations, tracking and reporting
  • Helps internal and external teams integrate HubSpot forms and other CRM services to their websites
  • Experience with ecommerce, donor management, and fundraising platforms, such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, Big Commerce, Shopify
  • Rigorously tests sites across browsers and devices, ensuring accessibility and performance optimization
  • Demonstrates core understanding of web elements, taxonomies, image formats, specs and other content considerations
  • Helps administer site security, including certificates, vulnerability scanning, security header implementation, load testing, server hardening, etc
