What You’ll Do:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team at SureCost. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers and play a key role in shaping the future of our platform. As an Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, guide the development of cutting-edge features, and drive technical excellence within the organization.

  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and meet quality standards.
  • Technical Guidance: Act as a technical advisor and make critical decisions on software architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion best practices for code quality, testing, and code reviews to maintain a high level of software excellence.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product roadmaps and ensure alignment between engineering and business objectives.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of top engineering talent to expand the team.
  • Performance and Development: Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, identifying opportunities for growth and development.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS, MS, or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role in a software development environment.
  • 5+ years of experience building innovative, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
  • Strong technical background in software development, including expertise in one or more programming languages. (Java is preferred)
  • Experience developing, deploying, and testing in AWS.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and healthcare technology is a plus.
