Job Summary:

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing Sales and Sales Leadership with KPI and analytics surrounding sales performance, with responsibilities in organizing, managing, and analyzing large and varied data sets, to optimize business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs business data analysis and ensures the quality, consistency, and integrity of data in a timely, effective, and reliable manner
  • Investigates data to find patterns and trends. Provides insights to support the decision-making and strategic planning for the sales organization. Presents findings, recommend actions based on the quantitative analysis assessment of sales operations reporting with the goal of improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Uses and consolidates data from a variety of data systems/sources, perform data standardization, transformations, reconciliations, and analysis
  • Assists in the upkeep and maintenance of sales reporting, dashboards, and analytics. Maintain and develop sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supports the rhythm of the business through weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting. Works with large data sets, along with the sales tools and systems, to build actionable reports and insights to drive pipeline growth and quota attainment
  • Compiles key pieces of information related to performance against sales objectives. Proactively analyzes win-loss data and report on key findings. Actively monitors, analyzes, and reports on sales activity, pipeline, acquisition, and market penetration; identifies and executes on opportunities to improve reporting
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports/dashboards and external intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, and assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed
  • Works to help design new and improve current workflows/automation for Sales Reporting and Presentations.
  • Actively engages with internal/external teams to streamline and standardize existing processes by identifying and developing opportunities to increase efficiencies
  • Calculates Commission and Bonus payouts.
  • Tracks the performance of critical initiatives, providing insights that improve performance.
  • Maintains best practices in data storage and data sharing methods.
  • Adheres to HIPAA regulations, company, and departmental policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the development of Business Intelligence and Reporting solutions (using SQL, Power BI, MS Excel and / or MS Access)
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce)
  • Experience building SalesForce flows, process builders, and workflows
  • Understanding of KPI’s and key business trends.
  • Ability to process commission calculations.
  • Understanding of HIPAA and compliance.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems.
  • Self-motivated and independent approach to tasks with a positive, proactive demeanor.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills required.
  • Work effectively in a team environment as a collaborative team member.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Must be a diligent problem solver who uses data in creative ways to reach business goals.

Education and Experience:

  • College Degree required.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce, SQL and Excel
  • Three+ years of Sales Operations experience or equivalent education
  • 1+ year in healthcare, medical device or laboratory a plus

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

  • This is a full-time position, based in the Suffern, NY office.
  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Prolonged periods of sedentary work that requires sitting at a desk and working on a computer
