The Sales Compensation Rep is responsible for performing producer support functions for Retirement Services (RS) and Employee Benefit (EB) divisions. This position acts as a liaison between producers, licensing operations, IT, and other business users to facilitate the exchange of information securely and accurately.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage production activities, paying of commissions, and operating within proprietary systems for RS & EB; including calculation of broker compensation.
  • Identify critical business request to facilitate payments for the appropriate business line.
  • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate phone, email and in person service regarding commission payments, bonuses, and all other aspects of producer compensation plans.
  • Provide a high level of professionalism through service interactions, a high attention to detail is required to accurately update producer information into various enterprise systems.
  • Act as the liaison between producers, licensing operations, IT, and other business users to facilitate the exchange of information securely and accurately.
  • Assist with projects, audits, testing, research and resolution related to commissions and producer information may also be expected from this role.
  • Complete statement processing, accounting, quality assurance, and earnings information; including ownership, reporting, and governance of financial maintenance, producer data, and sales compensation information.
  • Utilize EWA (Empowerment with Accountability) to assist clients and support agents.
  • Manage inbound & outbound call volumes from the field for agents and brokers while maintaining both service and quality goals.
  • Communicate proactively with the field regarding changes to their statements and accounts, charge backs, corrections etc.
  • Track all communication through workflow system (AWD or SharePoint) for feedback to Sales Compensation, stakeholders, and field.

What You Will Need:

  • College degree preferred or work experience in lieu of preferred (Call Center, customer service insurance, operations, or financial services).
  • 2 year's experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel, and ability to navigate multiple systems is required.
  • Foreign language skills a plus, but not required.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to assess & solution the needs of clients.

Salary Band: 02B

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
