Position Title: Lead Mechanic - Systems
Location: Everett, Seattle, Washington
Contract Type: Full Time – 12 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)

Job Overview: The Lead Mechanic oversees the maintenance tasks in the service, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to insure airworthiness. Ensures timely completion of tasks and provides training and mentorship for an assigned function area. Assists with Maintenance Supervisor responsibilities for short periods of time.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all tasks are promptly completed in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines and company policies.
  • Reviews required customer and FAA paperwork to ensure proper maintenance updates and compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Leads the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approve and return to service, any aircraft, or part thereof, only for which that Lead is rated and has satisfactorily performed the work concerned at an earlier date.
  • Performs maintenance tasks as required and becomes an active member of the crew.
  • Conducts crew meetings to ensure communication regarding work, safety, and quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Performs Delegated Inspector duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred.
  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
  • Engine Remove and Reinstallation /Troubleshooting
  • Pneumatics Troubleshooting
  • Gear Remove and Reinstallation /Troubleshooting
  • Experience on 737/767/Airbus
