The AVP of IT Infrastructure is a senior member of the IT leadership team reporting to the CIO. This role is responsible for the strategy and execution of the organization’s technology infrastructure plan. The AVP will provide hands-on leadership in areas of (Server, Network, Database, Storage, Service Desk, etc) to technical teams, managed service providers, hosting providers and consulting partners. This includes governance, organizational design, management and day-to-day operation of the corporate technology infrastructure to service internal and external corporate clients.

• Lead and manage strategy and execution for IT teams & systems including networking, telecom, DR, cloud, systems administration & security
• Ensure security, availability, performance, capacity for all IT infrastructure and end-user systems
• Develop and improve systems and procedures to deploy and maintain secure and reliable operations
• Execute on strategic corporate IT projects while keeping within budgeted cost and resource allocations
• Build and manage and/or supervise 3rd party IT infrastructure team with the goal of fostering career growth and job satisfaction
• Facilitate effective communication between executive management and IT team members
• Collaborate company-wide with peers from all departments and translate business needs into specific IT plans
• Implement & improve security best practices and a security awareness program
• Implement vendor management and risk assessment programs to ensure vendor security compliance
• Implement a monitoring/alerting solution to identify threats across critical systems which includes security incident response
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients and vendors
• Plan, manage, and report on phases of IT SOC program which includes but is not limited to lead walkthrough, oversee testing and communicate results to stakeholders (ITGCs, Application controls , IPE testing, SOC review, etc)
• Lead technical evaluations on system implementation, emerging technology and automations, and partner with business and IT stakeholders for continued SOC compliance.
• Assist continuous risk management and oversight functions by staying apprised, engaged, and trained in emerging technologies and technology risks which feed into the development of IT risk assessments and audit programs

• 10+ years of direct management experience of IT systems, services, policies, platforms
• 6+ years direct supervisory and staff management experience
• Strong team building capabilities including the ability to foster cooperation among diverse groups
• Strong decision-making abilities and leadership skills
• Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively articulate initiatives for a diverse set of infrastructure disciplines
• Experience managing multiple corporate initiatives with fluctuating priorities
• Experience implementing security frameworks including third-party auditing (SOC2, PCI-DSS)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
• Deep understanding in: MS Windows, Security, Networking, Virtualization, Storage, Cloud, BCDR, Compliance, Security Awareness
• Experience managing outsourced IT service vendors, offshore teams, consulting partners
• Experience implementing & supporting cloud and on-premises technologies: AD, Azure AD, MS Teams, SharePoint, ADFS, M365, MS Intune, MFA
• Experience with migrations and consolidations of data center, public cloud, private cloud, virtualization
• Ability to develop annual IT strategy and road map to support the organizations mission & core objectives

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science or related field
• Experience managing systems in AWS, Azure, GCP or other IaaS/PaaS platforms
• Experience implementing new enterprise technologies like cloud phone systems, VDI, Containers, Zero Trust
• Experience implementing entire corporate security policies and procedures
• Experience implementing Service Management solution (Ticketing, Change Mgmt, Knowledgebase, Project Mgmt, Asset Mgmt, Inventory Mgmt, Application Mgmt)
• Experience developing budgets, project plans, capital equipment requests, project proposals
• Experience managing production infrastructure in a SaaS organization supporting hundreds of clients and thousands of users
• Experience in overall recruitment, development and performance management of IT staff
• Experience working with senior management to define strategic direction, operating policies and major project plans
• Experience in Development, NOC, Infrastructure and other IT disciplines
• Strong business knowledge and experience outside of IT operations
• Experience interfacing with C-level management, functioning as department head in the absence of CIO/CTO/VP of IT
• Experience managing legacy application platforms including product sunset/retirement
• Salesforce Development and/or Administration Experience is a plus.
