Senior Vice President of IT Infrastructure

Ncb Management Services Inc is seeking a seasoned professional for the role of AVP of Infrastructure. This pivotal position is a key member of the IT leadership team, directly reporting to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). The AVP will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization's technology infrastructure strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and direct the strategic planning and implementation of IT systems, including networking, telecommunications, disaster recovery, cloud services, systems administration, and security.
- Ensure the security, availability, performance, and capacity of all IT infrastructure and end-user systems.
- Enhance and refine systems and processes to ensure secure and reliable operations.
- Lead strategic corporate IT initiatives while adhering to budgetary constraints and resource allocations.
- Build and manage a high-performing IT infrastructure team, focusing on career development and job satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication between executive leadership and IT personnel.
- Collaborate across departments to translate business requirements into actionable IT plans.
- Implement and enhance security best practices and a comprehensive security awareness program.
- Establish vendor management and risk assessment protocols to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop a monitoring and alerting framework to identify threats across critical systems, including security incident response.
- Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and vendors.
- Manage and report on the phases of the IT SOC program, including leading walkthroughs, overseeing testing, and communicating results to stakeholders.
- Conduct technical evaluations on system implementations, emerging technologies, and automation, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to maintain SOC compliance.
- Support ongoing risk management and oversight by staying informed about emerging technologies and risks, contributing to IT risk assessments and audit programs.
- 10+ years of management experience in IT systems, services, policies, and platforms.
- 6+ years of direct supervisory experience.
- Proven team-building skills with the ability to promote collaboration among diverse groups.
- Strong decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to effectively communicate initiatives across various infrastructure disciplines.
- Experience managing multiple corporate initiatives with changing priorities.
- Familiarity with implementing security frameworks, including third-party audits (SOC2, PCI-DSS).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Windows, security, networking, virtualization, storage, cloud services, business continuity and disaster recovery, compliance, and security awareness.
- Experience managing outsourced IT service vendors and offshore teams.
- Proficiency in implementing and supporting cloud and on-premises technologies such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, ADFS, M365, Microsoft Intune, and multi-factor authentication.
- Experience with data center migrations and consolidations across public and private cloud environments.
- Ability to develop an annual IT strategy and roadmap aligned with the organization's mission and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience managing systems in AWS, Azure, GCP, or other IaaS/PaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with implementing new enterprise technologies such as cloud phone systems, virtual desktop infrastructure, containers, and Zero Trust security models.
- Experience in developing and enforcing corporate security policies and procedures.
- Experience with Service Management solutions, including ticketing, change management, knowledge bases, project management, asset management, inventory management, and application management.
- Experience in budget development, project planning, capital equipment requests, and project proposals.
- Experience managing production infrastructure in a SaaS environment supporting numerous clients and users.
- Experience in recruitment, development, and performance management of IT staff.
- Ability to work with senior management to define strategic direction, operational policies, and major project plans.
- Experience across various IT disciplines, including development, network operations, and infrastructure.
- Strong business acumen and experience beyond IT operations.
- Experience interfacing with C-level management and acting as department head in the absence of the CIO/CTO/VP of IT.
- Experience managing legacy application platforms, including product sunset and retirement.
- Salesforce development and/or administration experience is a plus.
