Job Summary:

The Account Representative will act as liaison between customers and our company. This position will be responsible for servicing customers on a scheduled basis. Account Representative requires an excellent work ethic, good time management skills, and efficiency. They must be a critical thinker and have very good problem solving skills. The Account Representative will uphold the policies and procedures of the company at all times. The Account Representative will also portray a positive image of the company and will have the utmost of professionalism in all actions.

The Account Representative will be responsible for visiting their assigned accounts on a scheduled weekly basis. This position will be covering mostly south Broward County.

Essential Functions and Duties Will Include:
  • Take proper inventory at store level while monitoring dates on all products. All out of date product must be destroyed. Product with 10 day self life remaining must be documented.
  • Put together an order to maintain a full display and ensure there are no out-of-stock situations, and decreasing any unnecessary inventory.
  • Reviewing the order with the manager or person in charge
  • Notifying deli manager / store manager / person in charge of upcoming promotions and utilizing them to increase sales and brand awareness.
  • Correct any mis-rotation problems and bringing it to the managers attention.
  • Evaluate competitive products. (Case real estate and activity
  • Checking working pieces to ensure proper slicing. If incorrect slicing is found it should be brought to the associates and the managers attention
  • Merchandising all back stock for the retail case.
  • Re-setting all retail cases while taking inventory.
  • Re-setting and rotating all products
  • Cleaning condiment racks, nutrition book holders, Signage etc. weekly
  • Checking that each item has a price tag.
  • Refilling recipe and nutrition books as needed and maintaining an inventory in the store
  • Ensuring that standard POP materials are in place and clean, (i.e. electro-stats, case stripping, danglers).
  • Checking that correct sale signs are up and in the proper place.
  • Responsible for all POP for current promotions and inventory maintenance.
  • Responsible for introduction of all new products, including providing tags, PLU codes, and case space.
  • Communicating with operations manager to properly control inventory.
  • Communicating with the store manager (chain) weekly to identify any opportunities or requests
  • Handle all customer requests in a professional manner.
  • Meet with store manager at least once each week. (If Possible)
  • Creatively merchandise displays for various promotions, holidays or seasons.

Additional Responsibilities May Include:

  • Acting as a merchandiser when necessary.
  • Participating in case sets and promotional set-ups.
  • Attending classes, lectures, and seminars for further training as deemed necessary.
  • Additional duties needed by the Operations Manager or President.

Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and customers
  • Must be able to analyze situations and adopt a quick, effective, and reasonable course of action.
  • Knowledge of product line

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Lift or carry objects weighing up to 100 lbs; push or pull objects up to 300 lbs.
  • Must have a valid Florida Class D drivers license, and reliable transportation
