Role Overview: As the Venture Capital Investment Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our firm's investment activities, deal flow management, and due diligence processes. You will work closely with investment professionals, entrepreneurs, and external stakeholders to facilitate efficient deal execution, portfolio management, and investor relations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Deal Flow Management:

    • Manage inbound deal flow and screening processes, including reviewing pitch decks, conducting initial assessments, and coordinating meetings with potential investment opportunities.
    • Maintain deal pipeline databases and tracking systems to monitor progress, prioritize opportunities, and facilitate decision-making by investment committees.

  2. Due Diligence Coordination:

    • Coordinate due diligence efforts, including gathering financial documents, conducting market research, and performing competitive analysis to assess investment opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, technical) to ensure comprehensive due diligence reviews and documentation are completed timely and accurately.

  3. Investment Execution Support:

    • Assist in the preparation of investment memos, financial models, valuation analyses, and presentation materials for investment committee meetings and investor updates.
    • Support negotiation processes, term sheet preparation, and transaction documentation to facilitate smooth deal execution and closing processes.

  4. Portfolio Management Assistance:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of portfolio company information, financial performance metrics, and key milestones.
    • Assist in preparing portfolio reports, performance analysis, and investor communications to support ongoing portfolio management and reporting requirements.

  5. Investor Relations Support:

    • Assist in preparing materials for investor meetings, roadshows, and fundraising activities, including pitch decks, investor presentations, and due diligence documentation.
    • Respond to investor inquiries, coordinate investor updates, and manage investor relations platforms to ensure timely and transparent communication with stakeholders.

  6. Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities to streamline investment processes, enhance deal management systems, and improve operational efficiencies within the investment team.
    • Implement best practices, standardized procedures, and automation tools to optimize workflow and data management for investment coordination activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or financial services with exposure to investment coordination, deal execution, or due diligence processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, investment principles, and valuation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of venture capital industry practices, investment lifecycle, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
