The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in M&A, and a solid understanding of financial markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including market research, financial analysis, and valuation.
  • Conduct detailed due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions and assess their impact on financial performance.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive analysis and reports on transaction opportunities, including valuation summaries and strategic fit assessments.
  • Support the negotiation process by preparing presentations, offering recommendations, and assisting in structuring deal terms.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to ensure smooth execution of transactions and address any issues that arise.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to identify potential M&A opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books and presentations for client meetings and internal strategy sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the transaction process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, financial analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, financial databases).
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and strategic data.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes, transaction structures, and regulatory considerations.
  • Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
