Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is Seeking a Dependable Caregiver to Join Our Growing Team

  • Starting pay (for PCA, HHA, and NA) is $14-$17/hr, for CNAs $14.50-$18/hr 
  • 401k, with company match

  • Company paid virtual doctor visits/telehealth, after 1 year of employment 
  • Shift premiums for weekends and couple’s care, per visit flat rate available 
  • Flexible shifts - daytime, evening, overnights, weekends, live-in shifts available. Design the schedule that works for you

  • Yearly reviews, with performance bonuses 
  • Opportunities for voluntary overtime shifts 

At Home Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes
  • Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers 
  • Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders 
  • Monitor fluid intake and output 
  • Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks  
  • Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply   
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required  
  • Must have a current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting work*
  • Current PPD 
  • Must be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision 
  • Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check
