As Favor International continues to grow and expand our reach, Favor International is seeking a Graphics and Social Media Specialist to join Favor International's US team, Brandon Florida.

THE OPPORTUNITY

To further the vision of impacting communities for Christ in Uganda, South Sudan, and Chad, Favor International is seeking a Graphics and Social Media Specialist who will have the opportunity to leverage their design skills and social media expertise to support our mission of spreading love, compassion, and hope to those in need here in the USA. The ideal candidate will bring experience, and a deep commitment to the mission and faith in Jesus Christ. This is a unique opportunity for an individual to contribute to the success of a nonprofit making a real difference in the community. The Graphics and Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Operations Director. This position is not remote and requires the hire to be in the office in Brandon, Florida during regular business hours.

OUR STORY

Favor was birthed by prayer in 2002 by Ugandans and founder Carole Ward- a 3rd generation missionary, amid civil war led by Joseph Kony and the LRA. Favor
was founded to see God’s transformation of leaders and the region. Through God’s
miraculous proliferation of the Gospel, discipleship, and mobilized public prayer
movements, the previously unconquerable child soldier armies of the LRA, self-
evacuated leading to an uneasy peace by 2006. The LRA’s highest general, who
converted to Christianity and attended Favor’s Bible school, credited one of Favor’s
specific prayer gatherings for ending the war.

WHAT WE DO

As a Christian organization, Favor International exists to provide spiritual and Biblical guidance, humanitarian relief, and educational and economic development. Favor International works among the UUPG and build churches and focuses on training, discipling and empowering new believers and communities while specifically developing Indigenous leaders to become pastors and missionaries. Dedicated towards working with children, families, and communities primarily in Uganda and South Sudan, through the power of the Gospel, mobilized prayer and discipleship, leadership development, local community-based problem solving, and public/private cooperation; these new in Christ indigenous leaders help to transform unreached and underserved communities and the nations of Africa.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities of the Graphics and Social Media Specialists include, but are not limited to:

Graphic Design:

· Create captivating and inspirational graphics for our fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives.

· Develop visually compelling materials that effectively communicate our organization's mission and values.

· Collaborate with our marketing team to design print materials, digital assets, and promotional items that engage donors and supporters.

Social Media Management:

· Develop and implement social media strategies to amplify our message and inspire action among Favor International's online community.

· Manage social media channels with a heart-centered approach, fostering meaningful connections and sharing stories of impact.

· Monitor social media trends and conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and advocacy on behalf of the cause.

Content Creation:

· Produce engaging written and visual content for the website, blog, and social media platforms, highlighting the transformative work of the organization.

· Craft compelling stories and testimonials that resonate with donors and supporters, inspiring the donors to join the organization in making a difference.

· Collaborate with the fundraising team to develop campaigns and appeals that touch hearts and drive donations.

Community Engagement:

· Engage with our online community in a spirit of love, grace, and humility, reflecting the values of our Christian faith.

· Cultivate relationships with donors, volunteers, and partner organizations through social media interactions and outreach efforts.

· Participate in prayer and reflection as part of our team's commitment to spiritual growth and unity in purpose.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Education or training in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably in a non-profit or cause-driven environment.

· Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or equivalent tools.

· Strong understanding of social media platforms and their role in driving engagement and support for charitable causes.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.

· Alignment with the mission and values of our organization, rooted in Christian faith and principles.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities with grace and flexibility.

· Compensation will be fairly based on experience. Compensation may increase as the organization grows.
