We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor located out of Walworth County. The ideal candidate will be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. This position will be responsible for leading the warehouse team and all inventory and material movement processes within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Directly Lead the Warehouse team on rotating shifts (days and nights), providing direction, managing key performance indicators, and developing members to enable engagement and retention of key talent.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Lead all inventory accuracy processes and activities for the facility.
  • Conduct effective communication of departmental and business needs on all shifts.
  • Participate in Continuous improvement projects and Utilize 5Y’s methodology to Plan for space utilization for maximized storage capacity and warehouse material organization.
  • Create, train to, and maintain consistent and efficient processes that are validated, in place and followed through the warehouse department.
  • Assist with shipping carriers for scheduling, shipping & receiving logistics.
  • Collaborate with management & the Customer Service team in resolution of vendor complaints, customer complaints or warehousing conflicts when necessary.
  • Work safely, following all safety policies and proactively participating in the safe work of others and the safety of the overall environment.
  • Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Perform other support work to enable the team to be successful and as requested by administrative leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics or advanced technical certificate with 5 years minimum of hands-on experience leading teams in shipping, receiving and inventory control experience preferred.
  • Strong communicator and ability to work as a cohesive team.
  • Prior 5S/lean manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Familiarity with warehouse software systems, basic business computer applications and mobile device applications.
  • Demonstrated capability with powered industrial trucks of various types.
  • Demonstrated capability in basic math and measurement.
  • Ability to follow guidelines independently and work as part of a cohesive Operations team.
  • Demonstrated capability in process documentation and English language skills (written and oral) to accurately identify packing information, follow work instructions, and QA alerts.
