WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN INTERN MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR?
As an Intern Mental Health Counselor, you have the exciting opportunity to work alongside our experienced team and provide the highest level of care to our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual or group therapy sessions.
A go-getter, you take charge of documenting each session and you ensure that current regulations regarding therapy and counseling are followed. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM OUR INTERN MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR?
- Currently enrolled in a master's program for marriage and family therapy (MFT), social work (MSW), or clinical mental health counseling (CMHC)
- Proficiency with Google Suite
We're seeking someone with great interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with our patients. We also need a team player who works well with others. If you have great communication skills, both verbal and written, you would do well in this mental health internship. Most of all, we need someone who can care about our patients as much as we do. If that's you, you might just be perfect for this full- or part-time position
