Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Psychological Testing Coordinator to join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health. As a key member of our mental health services team, you will play a vital role in coordinating psychological evaluations for clients referred by government agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process referrals from government agencies, including DCFS, DWS, DOH, JJS, and DSPD.
  • Schedule testing appointments and obtain financial commitments from clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of testing progress and materials used.
  • Collaborate with psychologists and interns to ensure accurate and timely completion of evaluations.
  • Assist in supervising and scoring assessments.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining inventory and coordinating with referring agencies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, plus one year of specialized records technician training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of experience performing above and related duties.
  • Considerable knowledge of intake processes and procedures, program guidelines related to fee determination and assessments.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer and various software applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Telephone etiquette and federal and state statutes and guidelines, including HIPAA.
  • Mental health and medical terminology, basic statistics, and mathematics.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and the public.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SPANISH SPEAKING PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Competitive salary range of $18.49-$23.43 per hour.
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-5:00pm.
