The Assessment and Referral (Intake) Call Specialist’s responsibilities include the following:

  • Receive referral calls and obtain some demographic information and forward it to the appropriate assessor or schedule an assessment.
  • Process requests for information from external referrals.
  • Assist in arranging admission of patients.
  • Assist in completing appropriate release of information documents.
  • Maintaining Assessment data regarding patient intakes and inquiries.

Qualified candidates for Assessment and Referral (Intake) Call Specialist should have the following:

  • High School Diploma; bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred
  • One year experience in an intake department or business office strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
Shift:  PRN (as needed)
