This position offers a significant opportunity to shape the logistics landscape on both a domestic and international scale.
- Expand Freight Services: Identify and seize new business opportunities in ocean and air freight services to enhance market reach and service offerings.
- Custom Logistics Solutions: Tailor logistics solutions to meet diverse client needs, enhancing customer satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Territory Management: Strategically manage and grow your sales territory, ensuring robust business volume and exploring innovative market opportunities.
- Marketing and Sales Initiatives: Spearhead marketing efforts to boost visibility and market share of our transportation and warehousing solutions.
- Client Engagement and Negotiation: Engage in high-level negotiations and maintain strong business relationships, preparing detailed proposals in response to client RFPs.
- Pricing Strategy Leadership: Oversee pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market while ensuring profitability.
Requirements
- Experienced Professional: You bring at least 4 years of proven success in sales or business development within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain management industries.
- Educational Background: You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- Freight Forwarding Expertise: You are familiar with the nuances of freight forwarding and international logistics practices.
- Skilled Communicator: Your strong verbal and written communication skills enable you to create compelling proposals and effective presentations.
- Strategic Planner: You are adept at planning, organizing, and managing logistics operations to meet stringent deadlines.
