Summary/Objective

The Human Resource Generalist is a hands-on representative of the DecisionHR Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic HR functions as well as Employee Relations functions. With diverse yet substantive job responsibilities, the specialist works with providing client services support for both current employees and new hires.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for serving as a point of contact for assigned clients and providing initial support services. Support areas include, but are not limited to: DHR HRIS, Payroll, Unemployment Claims, etc.
  • Evaluate and analyze client/employee requests quickly interpreting the situation, determining the appropriate resolution, and communication the resolution in a timely manner.
  • Proactively escalates issues on the client’s behalf to ensure customer satisfaction and timeliness response.
  • Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures and provides excellent customer service to clients/employees while maintaining confidentially.
  • Provides employment-related data and prepares required reports for clients promptly.
  • Provides administrative and support to Human Resources Team (i.e. -FMLA Administration, Everify processing, and HR Consulting)
  • Perform effectively at a sustained pace and produce quality work for internal and external/external customers.
  • Present to clients via webinar or onsite demos of DHR HRIS systems and/or training.
  • Physical attendance is required at the worksite 3 days per week from 8 am to 5 pm.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience with MS Office software; Strong in Excel.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to function autonomously and within a group setting.
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
  • Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Experience in producing dashboards and metrics
