Johnson Venture Management Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive attitude. This position will primarily focus on credentialing tasks related to healthcare providers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain healthcare providers' credentials in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor staff credentials and licenses to ensure compliance with contractual terms, Joint Commission Accreditation, and state regulations.
  • Assist staff with renewal procedures as needed.
  • Participate in developing internal credentialing procedures and maintaining accurate records of licenses, credentials, and insurance.
  • Anticipate and address the needs of others to ensure a positive experience.
  • Perform general office tasks including filing, generating reports, and other administrative duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of credentialing experience preferred.
  • Background in healthcare preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Must pass a background check, including criminal history.
