Job Summary

ERP International is seeking a skilled Credentialing Specialist to provide centralized credentialing and privileging services to support our Corporate Office in San Antonio, TX. This role requires a professional with experience in credentialing and onboarding healthcare professionals within government contracting.

The successful candidate will work closely with Clinical Operations and Recruiters, as well as other corporate functions and Program Managers, to ensure seamless credentialing and privileging processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain provider credentialing files and e-file packets with current and accurate information
  • Maintain credentialing database
  • Input credentialing documents into database
  • Review credentialing and privileging requirements upon award of new contracts
  • Responsible for gathering all credentialing and privileging documentation for new contractors and working with appropriate Program Manager to ensure all credentialing and privileging documents are submitted to client prior to commencement of contractor start date
  • Produce credentialing queries and reports as needed
  • Ensure monthly updates of physician licenses and insurance
  • Making copies, preparing mailings, auditing physician profiles and scanning documents
  • Ensure work & product standards are of the highest level
  • Maintain good communication with all physicians and clinical ERP staff
  • Manage workflow to meet deadlines
  • Correspond with physicians and employees as needed to obtain information
  • Comply with policies and procedures
  • Run reports to track the efficiency of all expireables
  • Run educational, employment inquiries as needed

Requirements:

  • Associates degree or higher in relevant field is desired. Equivalent experience will suffice.
  • Credentialing Certification is highly desired
  • 5+ years' experience credentialing experience for a federal contractor organization
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
