Role: Data Specialist (ERP/Web/POS)

-Since these are C2H we can only work with USC, GC, Permanent Resident, EAD, and TN1 (Strictly NO H1B)

Data integration role between multiple platforms (ERP, POS, vendors). Based in Indianapolis Notes: Auditing ERP against external systems (e.g., POS, Square, etc.) position open due to internal promotion.


The ERP Data Specialist will be responsible for auditing the complete data flows on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis between multiple platforms and reporting systems including ERP, Websites, Point of Sale (POS), and vendor systems. They will be responsible for the timely and competent processing of system data flows and sharing results with various department leaders. A successful person in this role will possess system technical knowledge, analytical & problem-solving skills, data formatting, communication and organization skills and will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Essential Functions

  • Daily review of system data flows for ERP, Websites, POS, and Vendor systems
  • Audit and processing of data on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Research and reconcile disparate system transactions. Problem solve and identify corrective actions for any discrepancies. Establish a plan to prevent future occurrences
  • Work with manager to develop process improvements as well as streamlining existing processes
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • A two-year college degree in computer science or related field; minimum 1 years of related experience required
  • Entry level technical knowledge of data processing, data analysis techniques
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Retail industry knowledge and experience helpful
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and provide leadership to other team members
  • Multi-task oriented with desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to learn and advance
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong organization, decision making, and critical reasoning skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. ERP system experience a plus
  • Position requires spending long hours sitting using computers, entering financial information which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Position is located in a busy, open area office and is faced with constant interruptions
