The Human Resources Recruiter will focus primarily on sourcing staff for all areas of the organization. Responsibilities will includes managing the process of recruitment of new employees for the Inpatient Hospital, Outpatient Staff and Primary Care facility. Responsible to find the right candidate for the right for open positions. Must have the qualities to understand each candidate's credentials and match it with the requirements of the respective job profile. Must assess a potential candidate resume, shortlist the right resume, and then proceed with the recruitment procedures through interview and other necessary steps.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in recruiting in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred.
  • BA, bachelor's degree in human resource, business administration, or the related fields preferred.
  • Previous administrative, customer service and data entry experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and database computer software in a windows environment.
  • Knowledge of policies and human resources practices and procedures.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Possesses excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to interface with all levels of management and associates while building strong relationships.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve, meet deadlines, and follow through on work assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work overtime and on special projects as needed.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead the staff recruitment/selection process.
  • Source candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, job fairs, job seminars, cold calling, referral recruiting, etc., to get the right candidate.
  • Review resumes and screen applicants for employment,
  • Assist the managers in recognizing the key skills and competencies of the candidate to make the final selection of the candidate.
  • Manage interview on telephones or personal meeting to figure out the matched qualities, before processing it to the hiring manager or key interview panel.
  • Develop interview questions for positions to assist Managers in evaluating candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring Manager.
  • Negotiate and decide the cost/salary of the employee in consultation with the higher management.
  • Prepare offer letters for approval and make job offers.
  • Assist with scheduling for pre-employment medical examinations, D.O.J background checks, generate notices and correspondence to applicants/candidates.
  • Lead credential process for New Hires.
  • May process Personnel Action Notices for new hires, I-9 documents, terminations, job changes, etc.
  • Assist with the maintenance of clinical staff license reports and notify staff and the appropriate Department Head of the current and future license/registration status; draft monthly report to alert middle and upper management to 90-day/30-day expiring license status for clinical and other staff.
  • Provide employment verification in accordance with Agency policy and procedures.
  • Process Medicare Applications for all Licensed Staff.
  • Work according to the rules, regulations, and recruitment strategies of the organization.
  • Suggest new approaches towards developing better recruitment policies.
  • Arrange several marketing initiatives in advertising job vacancies through job sites, company website, newspaper, job vacancy journals, etc.
  • Monitor the need for new employees for a particular post.
  • Be aware of the healthcare job market trends.
  • Assist with updating/reviewing job descriptions.
  • Assist with processing pre-employment background checks, references, education, and license verification.
  • May assist in all areas of the day-to-day operations of the Department of Human Resources which include assist employees and walk-in applicants, process employee picture and security identification badges, data entry, filing, copying, assembly and distribution of reports and related forms.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Practices confidentiality in all employee, client, and management related matters.
  • Assist in preserving Kedren’s mission, goals, and objectives; and help management in establishing its internal service delivery goals and objectives that are consistent with the organization’s public service mission statement.
  • Participate in the fundraising activities of Kedren.
  • Assist in other duties and special projects as assigned.
