Accounts Payable

Pexco is looking for an Accounts Payable for our manufacturing plant located in Fife, WA.The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and executing the financial transactions related to the payment of goods and services received by the organization. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, adherence to financial policies, and collaboration with various internal departments and external vendors. The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciliation of accounts, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:

**

• Receive, review, and process invoices for goods and services in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Verify accuracy of invoices, ensuring correct coding, matching purchase orders with delivery receipts.

• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoicing and payments.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment-related matters.

• Prepare and process electronic and manual payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of payments to vendors while maximizing available discounts

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner, collaborating with internal departments as needed.

• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.Generate and analyze periodic reports related to accounts payable for management review.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all accounts payable transactions.

• Assist in the development and improvement of accounts payable processes and procedures.

• Collaborate with procurement, receiving, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth processing in invoices and resolutions of issues.

• Work closely with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing processes

**QUALIFICATIONS

**

• Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and problem-solving skills.
