This position is a great way to get your foot in the door to the construction industry


The project coordinator will assist project managers and estimators in keeping each project organized.  In this position, you’ll communicate with various employees within the company and have the opportunity to communicate externally with contractors, vendors, and clients. The majority of your day will be spent in the office with occasional time spent in the field.


Responsibilities:

  • Interface with company project management software to keep jobs running efficiently
  • Create project schedules and keep them up to date
  • Keep drawing sets coordinated and posted at all times for project managers and field staff
  • Communicate project specific RFIs & Submittals
  • Assist with permitting processes for each project
  • Assist the project manager in the change order process
  • Assist project estimators with certain aspects of the project bidding process
  • Scheduling of stakeholder meetings on projects when they are necessary
  • Coordinate and follow through with the project closeout process
  • Serve as the keyholder for project dashboard updates, understanding each project’s status


Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Construction Management (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of project management and scheduling software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Able to read and understand project blueprints
  • Attention to detail


Physical Demands:

  • Lift/Pull/Carry up to 80-100 lbs
  • Getting in and out of machines
  • Standing and walking performed on an occasional basis
  • Working in all weather conditions
  • Bending/Crouching
  • Squatting/Kneeling
