Job Description

The Red Gate Group is seeking an experienced Portfolio/Acquisition Manager to support the DIA's Chief Information Officer (CIO-4) Program Execution Office (PEO) in Washington, DC. This role involves reengineering and implementing a comprehensive acquisition process to enhance efficiency and governance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the establishment of the PEO, defining roles, processes, and governance.
  • Provide senior-level consulting for end-to-end acquisition services.
  • Advise on acquisition strategies, documentation, and governance.
  • Assist in program oversight and multiple award/task order management.
  • Develop acquisition plans and track program milestones.
  • Coordinate with technical experts and contracting offices.
  • Recommend transition strategies to commercial development models.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to align business and acquisition processes to industry and DIA best practices
  • Drive acquisition process improvements and develop agile business tools.
  • Align business and acquisition processes with best practices.
  • Educate and guide stakeholders and pilot programs through the full acquisition lifecycle

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Active TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI Poly
  • 15 years' experience with DoD/IC Acquisition and/or senior consulting 
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience. Master's degree preferred with advanced training in DoD/IC Acquisition and/or senior consulting 
  • Understanding of the IC, IC ITE, DoD, and DIA acquisition frameworks and architectures
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), DoD FAR Supplements (DFARs), and/or DoD Acquisition 5000 Series and ICD 801
  • DAWIA Level I, II, and/or III certification
