Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Process Technician Job in Twinsburg, OH for our client, a global manufacturer of quality products for the automotive and other industries. We are recruiting for 3rd shift. Process Technicians are key players in the client's manufacturing environment and ensure that equipment processes are stable and adhered to by all. The Process Technicians are responsible for mold changes, materials batching and ensuring machinery is properly used. Experience with plastic, rubber or synthetic rubber manufacturing and mold plate changes is highly desired. Our client offers a salary, based on experience, of between $24 and $28 per hour plus a shift differential and comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities for the 3rd shift Process Technician job in Twinsburg, OH include:

  • Provide application and process engineering expertise to facilitate manufacturing efficiencies and continuous improvement.
  • Support and coordinate the development and implementation of molding processes and related quality/engineering activities on new and existing product development.
  • Provide responsive support to the manufacturing operation.
  • Maintain and communicate the general knowledge of material properties and LSR molding techniques across departmental functions.
  • Assist in the identification of new processes to support cost reductions, quality improvements, and statistically capable processes.
  • Ensure all Mold changes have been completed thoroughly and manufacture ready.
  • Ensure all documentation is properly approved, correct & concise, and understandable.
  • Perform technical support to manufacturing, automation, and maintenance
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigation.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates with one or more years of Process Technician experience in Rubber, Synthetic Rubber or Plastics.
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude ability to troubleshoot problems and produce suggestions for corrections and improvements.
  • Experience with Engel, Arburg, Cincinnati Milacron, Battenfeld, or similar presses is a PLUS
  • Knowledge/experience required beyond minimum qualification: Knowledge of rubber molding, or plastic molding
  • Ability to write detailed descriptive molding processes. Ability to effectively present information in small and large group situations to manufacturing staff and customers/clients as needed.
  • Ability to perform basic and advanced mathematics using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, standard units, and metric units. Utilization and understanding of statistics, geometry, and dimensional tolerances.
  • Ability to process and organize data and details into actionable activities and process solutions.
