Job Overview

Position: Certified Pharmacy Technician

Compensation: $21 per hour | Bi-weekly payments

Employment Type: Onsite

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Role Summary:

  • Responsible for the delivery of prescription medical devices; ensuring accurate preparation and repackaging of devices; maintaining inventory that is within date; handling order entry and insurance billing for devices; demonstrating strong communication and professionalism with colleagues and external vendors.
  • Utilizes fundamental skills and techniques to perform routine tasks within designated areas.
  • Maintains all necessary licenses, training, and certifications.
  • Engages in basic and routine assignments.
  • Operates within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods.
  • Follows all quality guidelines meticulously.
  • Works under close supervision, with all tasks reviewed for accuracy.
  • Any deviations from standard procedures require supervisor approval before proceeding.
  • Key Responsibilities: Fulfillment of prescription device products; shipping logistics.
  • Entry of prescription orders.
  • Preferred experience in billing processes.
  • Handling inbound patient inquiries.
  • Conducting outbound calls to physicians.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, long-term care, or mail order settings.
  • Must possess Active Registration with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy; Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential (Ohio or National).
  • Must provide proof of current Technician Continuing Education credits.
