Collections Associate

LockNet will work with the corporate office and general contractors to ensure competitive pricing on quality products designed for high-traffic locations.

LockNet is seeking a Collections Associate to join our team. This excellent communicator has strong interpersonal skills and is able to effectively work with and build relationships with individuals both inside and outside of the organization. Extremely diligent and organized, the ideal Collections Associate will be able to prioritize his or her work and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

The Collections Associate will be responsible for items including but not limited to:

• Communicating with customers via phone or email regarding collections including receipt of invoice and payment status.
• Resolving account discrepancies and overseeing collections.
• Maintaining detailed reports of client payments by recording, cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Completing waivers as requested by customers and tracking state-to-state lien filing requirements concerning invoices due.
• Processing daily Accounts Receivable statements and reports with computer programs.
• Processing customer's invoices into third party web-based program.
• Sending and verifying invoices for products and services and preparing invoices for mailing.
• Establishing and maintaining confidential employer and business files.
• Assists with cash receipts, checks and ACH deposits.
• Run bank reports for cash receipts when needed.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

Required

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• General understanding of accounting practices and principles
• Excellent computer skills and experience with automated accounting programs and systems
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to move from one task to another as called upon

Preferred

• Two or more years of Accounts Receivable experience preferred
