MicroRam is looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our team. Candidates must be well-organized, dependable, self-motivated, and ready to work. Will report directly to the Accounting Director. Candidates must be able to commute daily to our Oldsmar office. This is not a remote working position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  1. Support of the Accounting Director in daily tasks.
  2. Accounts Payable duties
    1. Weekly payables
    2. Reconciling accounts
    3. Expense reporting
    4. Wire transfer preparation
    5. RMAs
    6. Reference checks
    7. General A/P assignments.
  3. Accounts Receivable duties
    1. Collections
    2. Setting up customers
    3. Reference checks to establish terms/limits.
  4. Researches and resolves vendor problems or billing discrepancies.
  5. Heavy data entry.
  6. Scanning, filing, copying, and emailing.
  7. Assistance with department document control.
  8. Ability to work with confidential files and records.
Job Requirements:
  1. 1-2 years of Accounting experience required.
  2. High school diploma or GED required.
  3. Strong attention to detail and high transaction experience are necessary.
  4. Ability to accurately perform general mathematical calculations.
  5. MS Excel and Microsoft Office experience required.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  7. Career-driven with a professional attitude.
  8. Must have excellent time management skills.
  9. Work well independently.
