Compliance and Privacy Specialist

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Local Candidates)

Hybrid: 2 Times a Week

Rate: $135/hr

Contract: 3 Months

Must be Authorized to Work in the US

No Visa Sponsorships

Role Summary:

Responsible for managing the compliance and privacy functions for captive shared IT services company serving operating entity company customers of large international insurance and financial services group located in North America. Activities include administering, coordinating and sometimes managing, developing, communicating and responding to events in scope of the compliance and privacy functions. Position in within small collegial Legal, Compliance & Privacy team.

Essential Job Functions:

· Run and monitor compliance and privacy programs and activities to ensure established policies and procedures are followed to maintain integrity of overall program and that program objectives are being met. Recommend programs and processes to improve quality and to influence desired outcomes. Stay current on operations initiatives, compliance/regulatory concerns and other changes in the industry.

· Actively seeks knowledge in areas not well developed.

Experience:

3-5 years experience required: managing compliance and privacy.

5-7 years experience preferred: managing compliance and privacy for US operations of large international company, preferably in the IT services industry. CIPP designation desired
