JOB SUMMARY: Manage quotation process assuring accurate BOM costing & application of pricing strategies. Present data analysis results & recommendations to senior management. Develop and continuously work to improve department KPI, standard & adhoc reporting formats.

ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage Quotation Analyst/s under the Cost/Quotations Dept Umbrella.
  2. Mentor & guide subordinates progress in learning the essential responsibilities of the role.
  3. Responsible for developing pricing strategies that meet corporate objectives.
  4. Research process productivity to support quoted rates for process steps, drawing upon Dept Manager’s expertise.
  5. Responsible for programming and maintenance of cost breakdown (CBD) tool.
  6. Review RFQ cost breakdowns of subordinates for process, cost, & price strategy accuracy.
  7. Work collaboratively with other departments to enable the manufacturing the highest quality parts for Aludec USA’s customers.
  8. Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • 3 years of management experience.
  • 5 years data analysis experience.
  • Ability to interpret engineering component drawings.
  • Strong math skills, numbers aptitude, and a knowledge of geometry sufficient to accurately calculate component volumes from engineering drawings.
  • Advanced knowledge & skill using MS Office suite with Excel being the most critical.
  • Experience using the Acumatica cloud ERP system.
  • Excellent written communication skills & ability to present at any level of internal or external organizations.
  • A good grasp of capacity management techniques & tools to better understand future obligations.
  • Strong organization and time management skills for balancing multiple priorities while maintaining deadlines.
  • 2 –5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on part-building processes.
