General Position Summary:

To provide an opportunity for toddler and preschool aged children to explore, play, and learn in a safe, fun, nurturing, God-focused environment.

Principal Accountabilities:

Supervise preschool children.

High regard for the safety of all children in your care.

Conduct registration; Maintain tuition records.

Facilitate learning opportunities in academics, life skills and the Catholic faith.

Manage parents and their expectations.

Order and maintain learning supplies.

Clean room/sanitize toys at end of each shift.

Responsible for all other projects, tasks, etc., as assigned.

Supervision Given and/or Received:

Oversees children and ensures their safety.

Consults with Pastoral Assistant as needed.

Internal Contacts:

Pastor

Pastoral Assistant

Director of Faith Formation

External Contacts:

Parents of children

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements:

This position works in a typical school environment.

Requires lifting and picking up toddlers.

Able to lift 50 pounds.


Travel Requirements:

Some travel time required.

Education and Experience Preferred:

Degree in Early Childhood or Education.

Worked with children.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

CPR/First Aid.

FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt
